Gaio’s competitive spirit has already seen him excel on both national and international platforms. He competed in an international tournament in Germany, where he reached the finals. He also secured a 6th place finish in the Dutch National Championships. He is currently representing Aqua-Novio 94 in the Eredivisie alongside his twin brother Tristan. Gaio’s presence in the pool is marked by his exceptional drive and determination to succeed.

College Goals

Gaio is eager to join a college swimming program in the Fall of 2025, where he can continue to refine his technique, strength, and race strategy. His ultimate goal is to compete at the highest level, make an impact on his future team, and further develop his skills to reach international success. Ideally, he hopes to swim in a program alongside his brother Tristan, but he is open to exploring all opportunities that will help him achieve his aspirations.
