Joris thrives on playing aggressive tennis, consistently seeking opportunities to approach the net and close out points with precision. His forehand and strong serve are key elements of his game, while his sharp volleys allow him to excel in offensive situations.

He trains seven times per week, combining practice sessions with regular match play. Joris competes actively in tournaments, averaging around two per month, and gains valuable experience at both national and international levels. He is especially active in ITF Junior tournaments and national ranking events, where he measures himself against strong competition and continues to grow as a player.

 Throughout his junior career, Joris has already achieved impressive results. He has been selected for the Dutch national team U12, U14 and U16. Besides that he became Dutch champion U14 in singles and doubles (outdoor) and was a finalist in singles and doubles U14 (indoor). He also reached the finals in both singles and doubles U16 (outdoor) and won the doubles title U18 (outdoor). On the national rankings, Joris has held the number one position U14 and reached number three U16. Internationally, he has already secured 4 ITF doubles titles, underlining his strong ability in doubles competition.

• 6-2 6-2 win over Jakob Joggerst (UTR 10.98)
• 6-1 3-6 1-6 loss to Kaan Isik Kosaner (UTR 12.54) 

Alongside his tennis career, Joris has clear academic ambitions. He is particularly interested in pursuing a degree in Business Economics in the United States, with an additional interest in Technical Spatial Planning. With Business as his primary focus, Joris is motivated to combine his education with his athletic development and contribute to a strong college tennis team.
