In 2025, Luke achieved several impressive milestones. He was ranked No. 10 in the Dutch National Boys Amateur Order of Merit and finished Top 10 at the National Championship Boys U19. During the Batouwe Open 2025, Luke delivered an outstanding performance by breaking the course record with a round of 65, ultimately winning the tournament. In the same year, he also became Club Champion Matchplay at The Royal Hague Golf & Country Club, further demonstrating his competitive strength in head-to-head play.

Luke also brings valuable team success to his profile. In 2024, he and his teammates became National Champions in Division 1 with The Royal Hague Men’s Team H2, highlighting his ability to contribute in high-level team competition.

Luke began his golf journey at Haarlemmermeersche Golfclub, where he quickly established himself as one of the top young players. At just 14 years old in 2021, he achieved a remarkable feat by winning three club championships in the same year: the Men’s Strokeplay Championship, Boys U21 Strokeplay Championship, and Boys U21 Matchplay Championship. He continued this dominance in the following years, winning the Men’s Strokeplay Championship in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and also capturing the Boys U21 Strokeplay and Matchplay titles in both 2023 and 2024. At the end of 2024, Luke made the move to The Royal Hague Golf & Country Club in order to compete full-time at the highest level of Dutch amateur golf.

Internationally, Luke was a member of the Dutch National Boys Team from ages 10 to 16, training weekly with the national program and competing in international tournaments representing the Netherlands. Earlier in his career, he competed on the U.S. Kids Tour in the Netherlands (later the Dutch Kids Tour), where his strong rankings earned him two qualifications for the U.S. Kids European Championship in Scotland. At age 13, he also competed in the prestigious World Championship – Champions of Champions.

Coming from a golf family, Luke has developed a deep dedication to the game from an early age. He is known as a strong team player with a resilient mindset, excellent ball striking, and a high level of coachability, always eager to continue learning and improving. Before fully focusing on golf, Luke was also a talented field hockey and soccer player, which contributed to his athletic development and competitive mindset.

With his strong competitive record, national and international experience, and dedication to continuous improvement, Luke is eager to continue developing both academically and athletically at the collegiate level.
