Naëll Huijsmans

Naëll believes her success comes from making the most out of minimal training opportunities. She keeps a coachable attitude and can sustain high speeds over long distances, handling race preparation with ease. Her ability to maintain a tough training schedule despite limited resources shows her incredible commitment and drive.

Naëll knows she needs to work on her strength and speed. She also realizes the importance of optimizing her diet, especially with her celiac disease making it hard to eat well before races. She aims to improve her strength training to get faster and better on the track. By focusing on the third segment of her races, she hopes to push past any hesitations and improve her performance. Naëll is a middle distance runner, specialized in the 400 and 800 meters.

Naëll has proven her skills on the track with achievements like a 4th place finish in the NK Indoor 800m 2024 and a 4th place in the 4.2KM Rotterdam NN Cityrun 2024. She has continually improved her personal records and earned podium finishes in various national competitions.

Starting her career with promise and now focusing on middle-distance events, Naëll has shown great progress and dedication. Despite challenges, she stays focused on reaching her full potential.
