Level
Tess plays for Were Di Women 2 during the 2025–2026 season at the highest regional level, gaining valuable experience at the senior level. During her youth career, Tess was a standout player for MHC HOCO, a smaller local club, gaining experience at the higher regional levels of Dutch youth hockey (Topklasse/Subtopklasse). Tess was frequently presented the opportunity to join a larger club but always decided to stay loyal to her team and pursue competitive goals with her teammates and friends. When she had to move on to the senior level, she decided it was time to take a step forward and joined a bigger club nearby (Were Di).

Playing style
Tess possesses great vision and decision-making, allowing her to read the game effectively, anticipate plays, and create scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. She is technical, has strong stick skills, and precision in her passing, making her a dangerous playmaker in midfield and attack. Moreover, she is a strong and physically tough player. Tess holds her ground in duels and is capable of withstanding physical play while maintaining control. On top of that, she is a team player and motivator, she plays a key role in driving her team forward and elevating the performance of those around her. Tess has been instrumental in leading her team to a championship title and has been the team’s top scorer multiple seasons.

Academics
Tess is currently in her final year of high school (VWO). She is expecting to graduate in June, 2026.
