Lilly van den Dongen is a determined and resilient tennis player, known for her aggressive baseline game and ability to dictate rallies with her forehand and serve. She thrives in long rallies and enjoys testing herself against a variety of opponents, always pushing to maintain intensity even when fatigued. Her mental strength and love for the game make her a tough competitor on court.

About Lilly van den Dongen

 Lilly plays tennis everyday, combining on-court tennis sessions, physical training, matchplay, and participation in both national and international tournaments. She regularly competes in ITF Junior tournaments, gaining valuable experience against international opponents and learning to adapt her game to different styles and conditions. 


Over the years, Lilly has won three Junior Dutch Championships in doubles and captured two Junior Gold Ranking Tournament titles this year (one in singles, one in doubles). On the international stage, her best ITF Junior results include a semi-final in singles and a doubles title, highlighting her ability to compete successfully at a high level. Her best national ranking to date is 2nd in U16 (June 2025), and she is currently ranked 7th in U16.

– 7-5 6-4 win over Silver Bijlsma (UTR 9.24)
– 5-7 6-7 loss to Oliwia Kadzielska (UTR 9.51)
– 1-6 6-4 6-0 win over Jenny Marsh (UTR 8.73)


Lilly combines her tennis ambitions with academic interests in Sports and Business, aiming to continue developing both as an athlete and as a student.
