Entry semester: Fall 2025

This is Ivar de Jong, an 18-year-old athlete from the Netherlands, living in Dronten. At the age of six, Ivar started playing soccer, but soon discovered that this sport was not his real passion. He switched to basketball and at sixteen he left for an American high school to further develop in this sport. There, however, he came across American Football, the sport he completely fell in love with. Since then he has been playing at the highest level in the Netherlands.

What makes Ivar special as a person is his ability to get along with everyone and adapt quickly to different situations. He is also someone who is always willing to learn and develop himself further.

What really sets Ivar apart as an athlete is his tremendous dedication and drive. He is determined to become the best version of himself both on and off the field. In addition, he is easy to coach and picks up new concepts quickly, which makes him a valuable player.

In the future, Ivar hopes to play at a high level for a college in America, surrounded by players and coaches who, like him, strive for success. Ivar wants to play at the highest level he can handle while also launching a clothing line for athletes, both on and off the field.
