Joppe began his volleyball career at Limes in Utrecht, where he played from 2019 until 2022. He currently plays for VV Utrecht at a higher level, to improve his volleyball level even more. Throughout his youth career, he has become regional champion multiple times, showing consistent success within Dutch youth volleyball.

In addition to national competition, Joppe has gained valuable international experience through several high-level tournaments across Europe. At the International Dynamo Tournament in Apeldoorn in December 2024, he achieved a strong 2nd-place finish. He also competed at the United World Games in Klagenfurt, Austria, finishing 5th, and at the Summercup in Lousã, Portugal, where his team placed 4th. These experiences have helped him grow tactically, mentally, and physically, while learning to perform under pressure against high-level competition.

Strengths
Joppe’s strengths lie in his defensive consistency, strong serve receive, and effective float serve. He reads the game well defensively and brings stability to the backcourt. His willingness to work hard every day and continuously improve himself makes him a highly coachable athlete with strong long-term potential. He approaches both training and matches with energy, discipline, and a team-first mentality.

Academics
Joppe is currently completing his VWO education at Bonifatius College, the highest level of high school in the Netherlands. He expects to graduate in June 2027 and is mostly interested in geography related majors.
