Sabrina de Weerd

Personal:
Sabrina is an ambitious and committed player who brings a strong work ethic to every environment. Alongside her playing career, she enjoys coaching football and has earned both her UEFA C and Instructor B coaching qualifications. This reflects her understanding of the game, leadership qualities, and desire to continue growing within football.

Soccer:
As a winger, Sabrina uses her pace and determination to stretch defences, attack space, and create opportunities in wide areas. Her game awareness allows her to recognise where danger can develop and make effective decisions in possession. She is capable of playing on either flank, giving her team tactical flexibility in the attacking line.

Her powerful shot is another important asset, enabling her to pose a direct goal threat from wide positions and around the penalty area. Sabrina’s best playing experience came during her time with Patro Eisden Maasmechelen Ladies B, where she competed in a challenging Belgian environment and continued to develop her game.

Sabrina’s football journey includes experience with RFC Hoensbroek, R.K.V.V. Weltania, EHC Hoensbroek, V.V. Schaesberg, V.V. FSG, Patro Eisden Maasmechelen Ladies B, DV Bilzen United Ladies B, VC Moldavo Ladies B, and now Zonhoven United Ladies. This range of experience has helped her become an adaptable, motivated, and competitive wide player.

Besides playing soccer, Sabrina is also coaching youth kids and is working on obtaining the UEFA B license.

Sabrina is looking to join a competitive program in the fall of 2027.
