Level
Amy plays for Bloemendaal U18-1 and has extensive experience in the National League (Landelijk), the highest level of Dutch youth hockey. Her talent has consistently been recognized as she has played for first-selection teams throughout her entire career, often competing against athletes a year older than herself. 

Playing style 
Amy is a dynamic midfielder known for her explosive speed and ability to read the game. She has a strong tactical sense for passing lanes and creates space with smart off-the-ball movement. Physically strong, she adds value with a dangerous drag-flick and a reliable aerial. Amy is a high-energy competitor who is currently working on her 1v1 defensive skills to become an even more complete player.

High performance
Amy was selected for the District Noord-Holland team (2023-2024) and the Steunpunt Noord-West regional program (2024-2025), allowing her to practice and play with the best players from her region.

Additional athletic information
In addition to being a field hockey standout, Amy is also a top-20 ranked tennis player in the Netherlands for her age group. Training at a national level in two sports has developed her elite footwork, endurance, and a professional competitive mindset.

Academics 
Amy is expected to graduate from Dutch high school at the VWO level (the highest level of Dutch high school) in June 2027. She is a disciplined student-athlete on track to graduate in June 2027. Amy is looking for a university where she can combine her education with a competitive field hockey program.

Amy’s unique background as a dual-sport standout makes her a versatile and disciplined addition to any team, and she is excited to start her collegiate career in Fall 2027.
