Denika has competed at a high level in Belgian volleyball for many years. Throughout her career, she has developed experience both as an outside hitter and libero, giving her a strong all-around foundation. She currently competes with Roeselare in Nationale 1 (second highest senior level) and previously earned selections for Belgian national youth teams.

Her volleyball career includes multiple national-level achievements. Denika became a two-time Belgian U19 Champion and finished as Belgian runner-up twice at both U13 and U17 level. During the 2025-2026 season, she also became Nationale 2 Champion.

In addition to indoor volleyball, Denika competes in beach volleyball at a high level. She finished 17th at the Belgian Beach Volleyball Championships, adding another dimension to her experience and all-around game.

Strengths
Despite being 5’9”, Denika’s jumping ability allows her to be an effective attacking option at the net. Her experience as both an outside hitter and libero has also made her a reliable serve-receive and defensive player, giving her the versatility to contribute in multiple areas of the game.

Physically, Denika is accustomed to a demanding training schedule that combines volleyball with additional strength and conditioning sessions. She describes herself as a determined player who is willing to work hard and stay committed to achieving a specific goal.

Her passion for volleyball extends beyond her own playing career. Denika has been a youth coach for several years, helping develop younger volleyball players, and has also coached at multiple volleyball camps. These experiences have strengthened her understanding of the game and reflect the important role volleyball plays in her daily life.

Academics
Denika completed ASO, the academically oriented secondary education track in Belgium, with a 3.56 high school GPA. She is now looking for a university in the United States where she can pursue a master’s degree in the Sport Science field while competing in college volleyball. With two years of eligibility remaining, she is looking for a program where she can continue developing as an athlete while taking the next step academically.
