Emily currently plays for Oranje-Rood in Eindhoven, where she made the step to challenge herself in one of the top youth pipelines in the Netherlands after spending her entire early career at her local club. Seeking a higher-level environment to accelerate her development, she successfully transitioned to Oranje-Rood and continues to advance through their ranks. Throughout her career, Emily has accumulated extensive competitive experience, consistently competing in the 1e Klasse as well as at the Subtop level.

Playing style

Emily is a tall, physically strong player who excels as a (central) forward, though she is versatile and can play as a midfielder as well. Recognized for her high tactical IQ and excellent field vision, she consistently identifies open spaces and sets up her teammates with precise passes and assists in the circle. She possesses a powerful shot, a natural knack for scoring, and an aggressive work rate when pressing opponent defenses. A vocal leader on the field, Emily actively coaches her teammates to maintain organization and momentum throughout the match. To further elevate her game, she is focused on enhancing her 1v1 eliminating skills and developing greater mental discipline.

Academics

Emily is a strong VWO student, expected to graduate in June 2028.

Emily is looking forward to joining a competitive collegiate field hockey program and US college where she can , and vocal leadership to contribute immediately to team success.
