Renske started playing volleyball at a young age with SVH VC, where she developed a strong foundation in the sport. At age 12, she joined the RTC (Regional Talent Center) program and began playing for Apollo 8, one of the top volleyball clubs in the country. In the 2023–2024 season, she played for Apollo 8’s U17 team, becoming both league champion and national champion.

Besides training and playing with her own team, Renske also trains with Apollo 8’s women’s first team, performing at the highest level in the Netherlands, giving her the opportunity to train at a higher level and improve faster.

Her talent has also been recognized at the national level. In April 2022, Renske was selected for the Dutch pre-youth national team program at Papendal. Nowadays, she is still part of the pre-youth selection team. And will be part of the Dutch National U18 Team during WEVZA. 

As a player, Renske’s biggest strengths are her explosiveness, vertical jump, and speed, which make her a powerful presence at the net. She’s strong in blocking, reacts quickly to the game, and learns fast, always eager to apply feedback and improve.

Renske is currently focused on improving her serve and defensive skills, aiming to become a more complete and well-rounded player.

Academically, she graduated from high school at the HAVO level, the second-highest level of secondary education in the Netherlands. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy and wants to continue her studies in the United States, where she will have four years of eligibility remaining.
