In this article, we introduce you to student-athlete Hugo van Leuveren. Hugo is a driven baseball player with big ambitions, who aims to start at an American boarding school in the Fall of 2025.

Hugo van Leuveren is from Meppel, the Netherlands, where he lives with his parents and brother. Hugo’s brother was already playing baseball, and while watching one of his practices, Hugo immediately knew that he wanted to pursue this sport as well. From that moment on, Hugo was hooked and never looked back.

Hugo is a social and approachable guy who easily connects with new people. He gives his all to achieve his goals and always puts in 100%, both on and off the field.

As an athlete, Hugo stands out due to his height, strength, and versatility. He is a true all-around player and can perform well in any position on the field. Although he prefers to stay in the background, he is always ready to take on a leadership role when needed. His team spirit and commitment make him a valuable player for any baseball team.

In the U.S., Hugo aims to develop into the best baseball player he can be. He strives to improve his technical and physical skills while simultaneously earning a degree in business.

In addition to his athletic and academic goals, Hugo is also looking forward to fully enjoying his time in the U.S. He hopes to have fun at school, on the field, and in his free time, while gaining new experiences and forming lasting friendships.
