Fleur’s rapid development is a result of her strong work ethic and athletic foundation. She has consistently moved up the national ranks, recently winning four national tournaments and competing in the Dutch National Championships. She is a proven team player, having won 10 out of 12 matches in the fall league and remaining undefeated this season against experienced senior players.
On the court, Fleur is a tactical all-court player with excellent court insight. Physically strong in both her upper and lower body, she uses her technique to hit a powerful forehand. Her perseverance and eagerness to learn make her highly coachable. Because of her relatively late start in the sport, Fleur has a lot of untapped potential that she is determined to unlock within the US college system.
Some of her best UTR-based results are:
64 63 win over Zoey Rayer (UTR 7.38)
61 63 win over Siefah Eelst (UTR 7.34)
64 63 win over Emma Sanchez (UTR 7.33)
62 64 win over Baukje Vinke (UTR 7.29)
Academics
Alongside her tennis career, Fleur is an outstanding student. She is currently enrolled in VWO, the highest level of high school in the Netherlands, where she maintains an impressive 4.0 GPA. She also follows the Latin curriculum, demonstrating her commitment to a rigorous academic program. Fleur is looking for a college where she can continue to excel both academically and athletically.
