Athletic Background
Arthur began his basketball career with Waterdragers, where he quickly developed from playing at a lower division level. In his first season, he averaged approximately 6 points per game before making a major leap to around 31 points per game the following season, helping his team earn promotion. He later made another significant step by progressing from the 5th division to the 1st division in just half a season.
Arthur currently plays for Rotterdam Basketbal U19-2 and U18-1, competing at the 1st and 2nd division levels in the Netherlands. During the 2025–2026 season, he competed at the national 1st division level with U19-2.
Beyond his regular team practices, Arthur has actively looked for opportunities to challenge himself against higher-level players. He has trained with former NCAA Division I players, including Jumani McNeace, and participated in a basketball camp in the United Kingdom, where he trained with coaches with national-level experience and competed alongside and against nationally competitive players.
At the Concrete Lions U18 Tournament, Arthur delivered several strong individual performances, scoring 18 and 30 points in two consecutive games. His standout performance was a triple-double of 38 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, demonstrating his ability to impact a game as a scorer, rebounder, and playmaker.
In the summer of 2026, Arthur also attended the NBC Basketball Camp, where he was selected for the All-Star Team.
Strengths
Arthur is a high-energy and versatile guard/wing who brings intensity to every possession. He enjoys defending, putting pressure on opponents, and creating energy on both ends of the court. His strong court vision and constant communication with his teammates allow him to contribute beyond scoring. Arthur is also highly coachable and hardworking, with a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and improve. He trains almost daily and actively looks for opportunities to challenge himself at a higher level.
Areas to Improve
Arthur is focused on developing his overall athleticism, particularly his explosiveness, jumping ability, running power, and speed. Improving these physical attributes will help him become even more effective in transition, defensively, and when attacking the basket.
Athletic Goals
Arthur’s long-term goal is to play basketball professionally and make a living from his passion for the sport. He wants to continue developing his game, compete at the highest level possible, and build a sustainable career in basketball while staying healthy.
