About Julian Saado

Julian’s game is defined by his experience and his high volume of match play. Having competed in over 370 matches with a 66% win rate, he is a seasoned competitor on the junior circuit. As a lefty, he effectively uses his cross-court forehand to dictate play and apply pressure to his opponent’s backhand, allowing him to control the pace of the rally.

As a left-handed player, Julian uses his natural advantage to dictate points. His primary strength is his ability to use his cross-court forehand to consistently pressure his opponent’s backhand.  His goal for his time in the U.S. is to improve as much as possible and to become the best player he can be.

Some of his best UTR-based results are:
6-2 6-2 win over David van Kooten (UTR 9.25)
6-1 0-6 10-2 win over Siart Bergsma (UTR 8.16)
6-7 7-5 11-9 win over Maxim de Vries (UTR 7.60)

Academically, Julian is looking to combine his tennis with a serious academic path. He is interested in pursuing a major in Aviation or a STEM-related field. He is looking for a program that allows him to balance his studies with his goal of reaching his peak performance on the court.
