Teske began playing tennis at the age of five at Meppeler Laws Tennis Club and has been training consistently ever since. At the age of twelve she was selected for the CSE Top Sports Academy in Zwolle, where she currently trains three times a week at school in addition to three weekly sessions at her club. Her program also includes functional training and strength work to complement her on-court practice. In 2024 she moved to play for Suthwalda in Zuidwolde, where she competes in women’s 1st class and Mainclass competition, finishing runner-up in both spring and fall seasons. Besides playing singles, Teske also really loves playing double matches.

Over the years Teske has played many Junior- and National Ranking Tournaments, earning multiple titles in singles and doubles. Some of her notable results include:
– 7-6 6-2 win over Julie Stolz (UTR 7.61)
– 6-2 6-3 win over Fleur Luderer (UTR 6.91)
– 6-7 4-6 loss to Mariela Pluutus (UTR 7.82)

Her progress is also reflected in her national ranking: U12 #48 (2021), U14 #58 (2022), U14 #14 (2023), U16 #22 (2024) and currently #9 U16 in 2025, as well as #132 in the Dutch adult ranking.

Academically, Teske is enrolled in VWO, the highest level of secundary education in the Netherlands. She is keeping her options open for her future studies while pursuing her tennis goals at a high level.
