This is Miguel van Zuuren, an 18-year-old athlete from the Netherlands, living in Bergen op Zoom. At the age of 15, Miguel started playing basketball and from the first moment he was sold. Since then, he decided to fully focus on the sport.
What makes Miguel special as a person is his maturity and positive attitude. He is someone who takes responsibility, acts professionally under pressure and always has an eye for his teammates.
What really sets Miguel apart as an athlete is his coachability, discipline and commitment. He is constantly improving his game, asking questions and analyzing situations to take his game to the next level. He also brings energy, communication and consistency, which makes him a valuable player.
In the future, Miguel hopes to play Division 1 college basketball in America. Miguel strives to continue to grow physically, mentally and academically. His ultimate goal is to discover how far he can go in the sport he is passionate about and to make his family proud.
