Together with the Amsterdam Youth Volleyball Foundation, Slamstox is organizing a volleyball clinic and presentation on studying and playing sports in America.

During this training session, none other than Ron Zwerver will be providing a clinic. His aim is to teach the youth new techniques, coach them to a higher level, and also be present to scout new talent. Following the clinic, Ron Zwerver will share more information with all the volleyball players and their parents about what college volleyball looks like in America and the potential opportunities for everyone.

To add to the excitement, Stijn van Tilburg, a former player at the University of Hawaii, professional volleyball player, and part of the Dutch national team, will also be present during this clinic. And as if that’s not enough, Mark Jones (women’s volleyball head coach at Quincy University, a top Division II program) will also be there to provide further insights into America and college volleyball.

After winning Olympic gold in 1996, Ron Zwerver has been actively involved for many years as the coach of the Dutch volleyball team. Additionally, he served as the coach for four years at the Division I team of Oregon State University. Since his return, he has been eager to provide the next generation of talented volleyball players with the opportunity to combine volleyball and studies in America.

For the past few years, he has been actively engaged in the volleyball department of Slamstox, assisting our volleyball players in their journey towards America.
