Sports: Men’s Track & Field
Entry semester: Fall 2025

Meet Jasper Valkenburg, a 17-year-old athlete from the Netherlands. Since the age of five, Jasper has been active in the sport of Track & Field, and after 12 years of intensive training, he has developed into a driven all-around athlete. This summer he achieved 6504 points, and his goal for next season is to improve this record.

Jasper is characterized by his social and open personality. Both on and off the field, he always wants to be there for his friends and teammates. In competitions, he always strives to improve and wants to be the best he can be. His determination to constantly grow makes him a valuable athlete and team member.

His ambition goes beyond sports. Jasper wants to graduate in America, make new friendships and have unforgettable experiences. Above all, he strives to develop further in the sport he loves so much.

His ultimate goal is an international career in Track & Field, with the dream of one day reaching the Olympics. But off the field, Jasper also has strong goals: he wants to further develop himself as a person, get his degree and make valuable friendships.
