Double Trouble at the University of the Pacific … Why? Because not one, but two Dutch footballers are part of the Pacific Tigers! Wouter Verstraaten and Bob Groenendijk, two Slamstox student athletes, cross the Atlantic Ocean together to combine study and Division 1 Soccer in California.

Wouter and Bob have been friends for a very long time, they started together in youth at PSV. After they both studied at the University in the Netherlands for a year, they did not find the combination of football and study in the Netherlands ideal. They wanted to get the best out of both, and so left for America. From Eindhoven, to roommates in sunny California!

But they were more than just roommates. She trained, traveled, studied, ate and played matches together. Not with the 2 of you, but with the entire football team!
