Entry semester: Fall 2025

This is Bas Corion, a talented athlete from the Netherlands, living in Leiden. From a young age, Bas played several sports, including water polo and field hockey, but when he discovered basketball, he immediately knew: this is it. His rapid development and commitment led to his acceptance into the Orange Lions Academy.

What makes Bas special as a person is his loyalty, positive attitude and commitment to those around him. He brings energy to any group he is a part of and is someone who values strong relationships.

What really sets Bas apart as an athlete is his team-oriented mentality and leadership. He always puts the team first, without losing sight of his own development. In addition, his discipline, hard work and perseverance make him a valuable player.

In the future, Bas hopes to further develop himself both athletically and academically in America. Bas wants to become the best version of himself as an athlete, student and person while being a positive, connecting force within the team.
