On Friday, December 8, you will have the chance to play yourself into the spotlight with American coaches! A fat day full of trainings, clinics and games. American college coaches are coming to the Netherlands especially for the Slamstox Field Hockey Showcase to scout and meet new players for their teams. Watch the aftermovie of the 2022 showcase here! On Thursday, Dec. 7, you will have the chance to experience what it’s like to play field hockey in America. The College Field Hockey Training will introduce you to the American style and give you a chance to learn from Student Athletes who have gone before you how they experienced it. Keep an eye on our social media and this website for more information. The trainers are Laura Gebhart from Penn State University and Mink van der Weerden (former international). The practice is open to any and all entrants, limited only by specified number, age, grade level and/or gender of its participants. Registration is closed.

In addition to putting yourself in the spotlight for American coaches, it is also a tremendously fun and educational event where you will be working on your future, and getting to know other girls with the same dream: playing field hockey and studying in America. 17.30-18.30: speed dates To make the Showcase even more fun and enjoyable for all attendees, we decided to split the day into two parts with a morning group and an afternoon group. This will maximize your field time and visibility! You will be assigned to group 1 or 2 by Slamstox. The division of the groups will be announced approximately 2 weeks before the Showcase.

The College Field Hockey Training and Showcase will be held at the field hockey fields and clubhouse of Hockey Club Oranje Rood.

• Slamstox Athletes: €50.
• Not Slamstox Athletes € 250.

Good to know

If you sign up as a non-Lamstox student-athlete and later decide to become a Slamstox student-athlete, the difference in cost will of course be settled.
