Jinte Braas – Women’s Track and Field

In this article we tell you more about student-athlete Didi Jinte Braas, in addition, at the bottom of this article you will find the video in which Jinte tells more about herself.

    Sports: Track and Field
    Entry semester: Fall 2023

16-year-old Jinte Braas has been doing track and field since she was five years old. From a young age, she went along to her sister’s races and got into track that way. She started out as a runner and also participated in the cross-country races. Later she started to like the shorter distances and technical parts in the multi’s, which she has been doing since she was 11 years old.

What makes Jinte so special as a person is that she never gives up and always keeps going. She struggled with injuries for 2 years but immediately started rehabbing until she got better than before her injuries.

As an athlete, Jinte is always open to improvement and wants to get the best out of both herself and her teammates. When she is not competing she will cheer on her teammates, she will also support her teammates when something does not go according to plan.

What Jinte wants to achieve in America is that she wants to improve her technical skills. She also wants to experience what it is like when a coach is always around and what it is like to compete as a team. She is also looking forward to being able to combine her sport and school.

I want to be a good person and bring positivity

    Jinte Braas
