Sports: Men’s Volleybal
Entry semester: Fall 2027

Luka is a 16-year-old volleyball player from Amsterdam. He is known for being social and is a true people person. He is also very kind and enjoys helping others. As an athlete, Luka is a real team player; he wants to keep the whole team motivated. He is very coachable and loves to maintain a positive atmosphere in the group.

When Luka was young, he did gymnastics. His parents played volleyball, and Luka often went to watch their matches. This is how he became enthusiastic about the sport and eventually started playing volleyball himself. He began at a small club in his hometown, but since that club was not of a very high level, Luka switched to US Volleyball in Amsterdam. He currently plays for VV Compaen.

Luka wants to further develop his volleyball skills in America; he aims to return as a better player. Additionally, he wants to enjoy the experience and hopes to earn his high school diploma there as well.
