Sports: Volleyball

Entry semester: Fall 2024

Marko is 16 years old and lives in Scheveningen. In his early years, he practiced several sports until he decided to focus on volleyball at the age of eight. He fell more and more in love with the sport and by the time he was fourteen, he was already participating in adult competitions.

Marko is very sociable and interacts well with people. He enjoys helping those around him, which makes him a good team player. Furthermore, Marko is a very eager athlete who listens well to the feedback he receives in order to further improve his game. He brings a lot of ambition and a desire to get better to his future team.

In America, Marko wants to receive a good education, make lifelong friends, and experience life in a different culture. But above all, he wants to compete in a Division 1 final in his senior year. In his life, Marko aims to secure a good job in sports and travel the world. But most of all, he wants to leave something behind that people will remember him for.
