This is Mats Huisman, a passionate soccer player from the Netherlands who has been involved in the sport since he was young. Over the years, Mats has played on various youth teams and gained a lot of experience in Dutch club soccer.

Mats has been playing for VV Geldrop since he was four and has been a member of the select teams from the very beginning. As he developed, he was regularly given the opportunity to play with older teams, which allowed him to challenge himself at a higher level. These experiences have helped him develop further both technically and physically and have also contributed to his mindset, self-confidence, and perseverance, both on and off the field.

On the field, Mats constantly strives to contribute to the team. Thanks to his many years of experience in youth soccer, he knows how important teamwork, dedication, and development are for a player to continue to improve.

For Mats, an adventure in the United States is a great opportunity to continue his development. By combining soccer with his studies, he’ll have the chance to challenge himself further—both athletically and personally—and gain new experiences.
