Entry semester: Fall 2025

This is Nicolas Scheffer, a motivated athlete from the Netherlands and currently spending a gap year in Seville. His athletic journey began with tennis, field hockey and basketball, but during corona he discovered his passion for golf. Since then, he spends four hours training daily, five days a week and plays tournaments on weekends.

What makes Nicolas special as a person is his unique outlook on life. He is described as hardworking, caring, creative and social. At the age of 16 he made the move to Spain for his sports and studies which has brought him in contact with people from all over the world.

What really sets Nicolas apart as an athlete is his constant drive and ability to make others around him better. He is a complete player, but particularly excels at putting.

In the future, Nicolas hopes to further develop his game in America and push himself to the limit both as an athlete and as a student. Nicolas dreams of playing many tournaments, achieving academic success and staying connected to golf for the rest of his life.
