Noëlle Huijser – Women’s Track and Field

Sports: Track & Field
Entry semester: Fall 2024

Sixteen-year-old Noëlle Huijser started participating in sports at the age of five. Hockey was the first sport she played, followed by track & field a year later. She also played tennis for a while and started focusing only on track & field three years ago.

As a person, Noëlle is easygoing and always tries to create a pleasant atmosphere for those around her. As an athlete, Noëlle began as a heptathlete and later joined the distance group because she enjoyed it the most. When she switched coaches, she managed to shave off 25 seconds from her personal best within one year. Noëlle describes herself as a coachable athlete.

In America, Noëlle aims to become faster, but above all, she values having an amazing experience and making lifetime friendships.
