Entry semester: Fall 2023

Pien started with tennis lessons at a young age. She was only six years old when she started at the club where the rest of her family already played. Pien also played field hockey in combination with tennis in the past, training a total of seven times a week. Nowadays, Pien is fully dedicated to tennis and also gives tennis lessons by herself.

Besides motivating her teammates and the children she trains, Pien is easy-going and gets along with people well. At the first side, she may come across as quiet and shy, but she will gradually open up to you. She likes to make new friends, but also values keeping her old friends close to her.

As an athlete, Pien is someone who plays stable matches. Her teammates often express their pleasure in playing doubles with her. She is a real fighter who will strive for her points and listens well to her coaches.

Currently, Pien is studying at Wageningen University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Health.
