2025 was a year where many things came together. Great moments, steady growth, some tension at times and above all a lot of teamwork. A year in which our community continued to grow and we took clear steps forward in what we are building together.
Looking back on 2025, what stands out most is gratitude. Gratitude for our student athletes. For the team. And for everyone who contributes every single day, often behind the scenes, to the same goal: helping young athletes combine sports and education in the best possible way.
Showcases at a high level
Our tennis, field hockey and soccer showcases reached a new level this year. More than 75 universities traveled to the Netherlands to see our athletes compete live. Not in presentations, but on the court and on the field, where it truly matters.
For many student athletes, this was their first real introduction to college coaches. For us, it once again confirmed how important it is to create the right environment to make talent visible.
Heroes Den Bosch and strong partnerships
In 2025, we started a great partnership with Heroes Den Bosch. Slamstox featured on the front of the game jersey, right in the heart of Dutch professional sports. But more important than visibility is the substance: working together to guide talent toward the next step, often toward the United States.
Partnerships like this show how sports, education and guidance can reinforce each other when everyone shares the same vision.

Teamwork beyond the field
Alongside hard work, there was also room to recharge together. Our team trip took us skiing in Landgraaf, followed by a fun night out in Maastricht. Moments like these matter. They strengthen connections and make the work we do together even more meaningful.
A challenging visa period
2025 also brought uncertainty. The announcement by Trump about limiting international students raised questions and concerns among athletes and parents.
As a team, we approached this calmly and carefully. By sharing knowledge, working through scenarios and staying in close contact with everyone involved. In the end, all student athletes starting in 2025 successfully received their visas.
New faces in the team
We also welcomed new colleagues this year. Tycho Meulebeek, Rogier Vannisselroy and Jord Malcorps joined the Slamstox team.
What makes this especially meaningful is that all three have personally combined sports and education in the United States. Tycho and Rogier even did so through Slamstox themselves. In that sense, the circle truly feels complete.
International and close to our athletes
2025 marked our first international showcase. In Dubai, we organized a showcase for soccer and basketball. A step that fits well with our international ambitions.
At the same time, we moved closer to our student athletes. By organizing more low threshold events such as try outs and evaluation days, we see our athletes more often and more clearly in action. This leads to better guidance and more realistic expectations. A win win for everyone involved.

New website and the first magazine
In 2025, we launched our new website. A platform that better reflects who we are today and where we are heading. More personal, clearer and more focused on our community.
We also released the very first Slamstox Magazine. Filled with stories, achievements and a behind the scenes look at our world.

Moving toward The Core
Behind the scenes, a lot of work went into preparing our next step. Starting January 2026, we will move into The Core building in Eindhoven, together with SEG and Golazo.
A new place that offers room for further growth and collaboration. More on this very soon.
Strong athletic performances
Our student athletes once again delivered impressive performances in 2025. Multiple national championships and even medals at European and World Championships. Results that show what is possible when talent, commitment and guidance come together.
Grateful and looking ahead
Finally, a word of thanks. To the Slamstox team for their daily dedication to our student athletes. To the parents for their trust and cooperation. And to our entire community.
To all the student-athletes representing Slamstox, each in their own way.
We look ahead to 2026 and the plans we will continue to build step by step.
Stay on the path, warriors!
