Slamstox is growing fast and therefore we are looking for a new Student-Athlete Recruiter. Someone who easily connects with athletes and parents, sees opportunities and gets energy from building relationships and results.
At Slamstox, we help aspiring athletes find scholarships and athletic spots at American universities. We’ve been doing that for over 12 years now, in a variety of sports and with athletes of every level. Our goal? To give every student-athlete a once in a lifetime experience.
The traineeship
You will start within our internal traineeship where we will train you to become a full-fledged Student-Athlete Recruiter.
We’ll teach you all about the American college system, recruitment, sales and how we guide talents toward their American Dream.
The goal is clear: to develop yourself into an independent specialist within Team Slamstox who can guide and convince athletes, parents and talents at a high level.
What will you do?
As a Student-Athlete Recruiter, you are the front end of Slamstox.
You spot talent, connect with athletes and parents, conduct interviews, build relationships and ensure aspiring athletes want to become part of Team Slamstox.
Your duties will include:
– actively approaching talented athletes and families
– conducting advisory interviews with prospects and parents
– working with targets and results
– building your own network and pipeline
– being present at sporting events, showcases and competitions
– collaborating with marketing and social media
– thinking about commercial opportunities and growth
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with energy. Someone who takes initiative, connects easily and enjoys building.
Furthermore, you recognize yourself in many of the following points:
– you are socially strong and have good communication skills
– you think commercially and result-oriented
– you get energy from targets and ambition
– you have affinity with sports and understand the top sports mentality
– you are inquisitive, eager to learn and dare to take responsibility
– experience with college sports is a big plus
– you speak Dutch and English well
In addition:
– are you available full-time
– work from our office in Eindhoven
