About
Bram Kaarsgaren

After a youth career at both Willem II/RKC and FC Den Bosch, Bram made the choice to embark on an adventure in America in 2019. Combining playing soccer at a high level and studying SPECO at the FONTYS in the Netherlands no longer worked ideally so he made the choice to do it differently.

He began his American adventure at Carson Newman University in Tennessee where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. This NCAA Division II school is located in Jefferson City. Bram won the SAC Conference here 3 years in a row. He also won multiple individual awards such as Defensive player of the year, 8x Defensive player of the week and was named first team ALL-SAC 3 years in a row. After completing his undergraduate degree, he started looking for a step up and ended up at the NCAA Division I school “Southern Methodist University” in Dallas, where he played in the AAC Conference. At the Ponies, Bram combined his goalkeeping career with a master’s degree in sports management.

In his spare time, Bram now plays for VV IJsselmeervogels in Bunschoten-Spakenburg and otherwise spends a lot of time with his friends in the center of Den Bosch.
