Geraldo began playing American football for Amsterdam Panthers of the American Football Association of the Netherlands (AFBN). At 17, he moved to Boise, Idaho, to play one year of high school football at Capital High School, where he earned first-team All-Southern Idaho Conference and second-team All-State Honors in his senior year.
After his senior year, Geraldo received a full-ride scholarship to play football at Boise State University. He played for the Broncos from 2009 to 2013, eventually winning 3 conference titles and 4 college bowl games.
After college, Geraldo signed a preferred free-agent deal with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons after he was undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft. Geraldo’s attempt to make the Falcons’ final roster was cut short by injury (described on HBO Hard Knocks). After the NFL, Geraldo signed with the BC Lions of the CFL before returning to Amsterdam in 2017.
Geraldo has a passion for American football and sharing his knowledge and experience with young athletes to help them achieve their goals.
