Nyls Korstanje

Nyls began his adventure at Slamstox in 2018 when he made the choice to swim and study in America. His American adventure started at NC-State, a D1 university in North Carolina from where he was able to support the Dutch swimming team, as well as get a good degree!

In 2021, Nyls left for the Olympics for the first time where he got to experience the COVID year of the Games. After the Games, he returned to the States to finish his training and prepare for future competitions. After posting top performances at European Championships and World Championships, Nyls managed to qualify again for the 2024 Games, this time without COVID!

Nyls finished his education at NC-State and is currently studying at the TU of Eindhoven, in addition to his studies he helps enthusiastic swimmers to make the same step as he did in 2018.
