Thomas van Bergen van der Grijp is 17 years old and lives with his parents and sister in Oosterhout. When Thomas was young, he initially tried soccer and volleyball, but these sports didn’t quite suit him. When he was 12 years old, he gave baseball a try, and he was immediately hooked.

Thanks to Thomas’ experience in the hospitality industry, he can interact well with people of all ages and is very sociable. He easily makes friends and adapts effortlessly to new environments. Both on and off the field, Thomas is always very positive. He is a true team player who consistently motivates his teammates to bring out the best in themselves.

During his time in America, Thomas aims to bring out the best in himself and develop as much as possible both athletically and personally. Beyond athletic and academic achievements, Thomas also hopes to make many new friends and have an unforgettable experience in America.
