Jack Tigges – Men’s Tennis

In this article, we’ll tell you more about student-athlete Jack Tigges. At the bottom, you’ll also find a video in which Jack talks more about himself.

Sport: Men’s Tennis
Entry semester: Fall 2027

This is Jack Tigges, a passionate and talented tennis player from Amsterdam. Jack started playing tennis at the age of seven, after having played soccer during his childhood. At the age of thirteen, he made a conscious decision to focus entirely on tennis and joined a tennis academy.

Since then, Jack has been training five to six times a week and has been consistently working on his development as a player. He is known for his discipline, friendliness, and optimistic mindset. In addition, he is a true team player who enjoys working together with others and motivating them. He has been his team’s captain for three years now, which underscores his leadership qualities.

On the court, his serve is his greatest weapon, and it often makes the difference in matches.

Jack is looking forward to continuing his personal and professional growth as a tennis player in the United States. His goal is to make the most of every opportunity he gets and to get the most out of his experience as a student-athlete.

“My goal is to develop myself fully as a person and as a tennis player, and to make the most of every opportunity I get.” – Jack Tigges
