Entry semester: Fall 2025

This is Joost Koning, an 18-year-old athlete from the Netherlands, living in Emmen. At the age of seven, Joost started playing tennis after abandoning his previous passion for soccer due to busyness. From then on, he focused entirely on tennis.

What makes Joost special as a person are his social skills. He is always willing to help others and is known as a hard-working enthusiastic guy.

What really sets Joost apart as an athlete is his dedication and work ethic. He is fast on the court and his backhand is one of his greatest weapons. In addition, he is always improving his game and is constantly looking for ways to improve his skills.

In the future, Joost hopes to become the best version of himself in America, both on and off the field. He also wants to get his bachelor’s degree, meet new people and make unforgettable memories.
