Lynn van den Berg – Women’s Track & Field

In this article, we’ll tell you more about student-athlete Lynn van den Berg. At the bottom, you’ll also find a video in which Lynn talks more about herself.

Sports: Track & Field
Entry semester: Fall 2028

This is Lynn van den Berg, a talented and driven athlete from the Netherlands. Lynn started athletics at the age of eight and has developed into a versatile runner with a strong focus on medium distances.

Whereas at first she was mainly active on the sprint numbers, in recent years Lynn has increasingly shifted her focus to the distances between 300 and 1500 meters. In doing so, she has already achieved great results, including a 5th place in the 150 meters at the 2024 D Games and a bronze medal in the 1500 meters at the 2026 National Indoor U16 Championships.

Lynn is known for her discipline, perseverance and strong competitive mentality. She is an athlete who is always willing to work hard and gives her all during competitions to get the most out of herself.

“My goal is to become one of the top middle-distance runners in the Netherlands, and I believe that training and competing in the United States will help me reach that level.” – Lynn van den Berg
