• Delaware State University launches women’s wrestling starting Fall 2025.
• Florida State and Austin Peay State are starting women’s lacrosse.
• Rice University and Providence College add women’s golf.
• Northern Kentucky and Manhattan College are starting men’s volleyball.
• University of Toledo adds women’s rowing.

NCAA DII & DIII

• New programs in field hockey, track & field, golf, and even rugby, among others.
• Notable additions in men’s & women’s wrestling – a sport that is really on the rise!

NAIA, NJCAA & more

• Mount Mercy University is starting a completely new football program.
• Arizona Christian and Defiance College launch women’s wrestling and bowling.
• In the NJCAA, men’s volleyball and women’s soccer stand out as growing sports.
