Sports: Basketball 
Entry semester: Fall 2023

18-year-old Quentin has been playing basketball since he was seven years old. Before he started playing basketball, he also played other sports. Yet Quentin quickly knew that basketball suited him much better than tennis and soccer. He likes the pace of the game and playing as a part of a team. Quentin started playing at a local club but soon wanted to play basketball at a higher level, since 4 years now he has been playing at the highest level in the Netherlands, in Heilo and Den Helder.

What makes Quentin special as a person is his enthusiasm; he is also eager to learn and quickly absorbs learning material. In his free time, he likes to be with his family and friends, but most of all he likes to travel with his family. Game nights are also not to be missed.

As an athlete, Quentin will always work hard for what he wants to achieve. He will bring the right energy to the court to take his teammates but also himself to the next level. On the court, he can communicate well and has good insight on the court. Also with his high basketball IQ, he wants to make the team play better and most importantly win games.

In America, Quentin wants to grow as an individual but is especially curious about what it will be to play basketball in America and to devote yourself fully to the game.
