Ruben Weijer began his sports career when he was only 4 years old. He played ice hockey at a high level for the first few years but lost interest in it. Then he switched to tennis and has been enjoying it since he was 8 years old.

What makes Ruben special as a person is that he is a hard-working boy who also likes to be by himself. During his high school, he went to the gym Monday through Friday before classes started to get stronger.

As an athlete, Ruben has a powerful stroke and is very explosive on the court. He enjoys hitting hard and long rallies and leaving his opponent far behind the back line so he can attack.

In America, Ruben wants to get everything out of school and on the tennis court. He wants to make new friends and face new challenges but most of all have a really fun experience.
