Sports: Women’s Diving
Entry semester: Fall 2027
This is Lita van Weert, a 15-year-old athlete from the Netherlands, living in Sint Oedenrode. At the age of five, Lita started diving because of a video she saw. She did a trial lesson and liked it immediately, which made her decide to continue. Soon she started training several times a week and today she trains nine to 10 times a week.
What makes Lita special as a person is her social nature. She loves doing fun things with friends on weekends. In addition, Lita is active with babysitting small children, something she enjoys.
What really sets Lita apart as an athlete is her discipline and positivity. She is a hard worker who gives everything for her goals. In addition, she always stays positive during her workouts and tries to motivate her teammates through her energy and enthusiasm.
In the future, Lita hopes to compete in the NCAAs in America. Lita wants to continue to represent her country at European and world championships and her ultimate goal is to compete in the Olympics.
