Around & About with Alice Sundberg (golf)

“My brother, Oskar Sundberg, plays Division 1 college golf in New York City, so I had an idea of what it would be like to come to the United States. I came here because I want to eventually try out a professional career and play on different tours – that is my goal. We will see how it goes.”

In August, 2018, Swedish golf player Alice Sundberg left her family in Stockholm to play Division 1 Golf and pursue a degree in business administration at Campbell University. Campbell University is a small-sized (7,000 students) NCAA Division 1 college in Buies Creek, North Carolina, with over 150 academic programs ranging from business administration to graphic design to communication studies.

“I like that Campbell is pretty small because it feels like all the students become close to each other like a tight community – you pretty much know everyone here.”
