    Suze Droogh – Women’s Volleyball

In this article, we tell you more about student-athlete Suze Droogh. Additionally, at the bottom of this article, you will find the video in which Suze talks more about herself.

    Sports: Women’s Volleyball
    Entry semester: Fall 2026

Suze Droogh is 15 years old and lives in Pijnacker with her parents and her brother. At a young age, Suze started gymnastics, but she lost a bit of her enjoyment in the sport. When she was 9 years old, her parents encouraged her to try a team sport, and that’s when she started playing volleyball. She quickly discovered her passion for the sport, and at the age of 12, she decided to move to a better club: ZVH in Zevenhuizen, where she still plays today.

Suze is a social and energetic girl who quickly makes friends and can easily adapt to new environments. As a volleyball player, she is always positive and does everything she can to keep her team motivated. Suze excels in defense and does everything she can to keep the ball in play, always focusing on teamwork and perseverance.

In America, Suze wants to further improve her physical and tactical abilities. Physically, she wants to become stronger to enhance her jump, while tactically, she wants to gain more insight into when and why she should make certain shots. Suze’s ultimate dream is to one day play for the national team, and she hopes to gain the experience in America that will help her achieve this goal.

” I always try to bring positivity to the court ”
