An currently plays volleyball in the Dutch Topdivision for SV Dynamo, playing for their second women’s team as an opposite. An also trains with the first women’s team (Eredivisie level). An is a real powerful attacker and as an opposite she has great coverage of the court and keeps overview in her game.

An began her volleyball journey at SV Dynamo at the age of seven. At 15 years old, she joined the senior women's team. In 2020, she was invited to train with the Dutch National Youth Team, showcasing her talent and potential.

On and off the field, An is highly motivated and enthusiastic, always ready to embrace new challenges. Her attacking skills are among her greatest strengths as an opposite.

During her time in the United States, An aims to enhance her defense skills, improve her physical strength, and work on her response time. Most importantly, she looks forward to being part of a motivated team every day and making a significant contribution to her new team.

Some of An's notable achievements include:

First place at the International Youth Tournament SV Dynamo (2018, 2022)

First place at the United World Games Klagenfurt U15 (2019)

National Champion in Girls U17 (2022-2023)

Currently attending high school at the VWO level, which is the highest level of education in the Netherlands, An anticipates graduating in June 2024. Her academic interests lie primarily in communication science, media, or management-related fields.
