Anouk Westerink

Level

Anouk is currently playing for Ede U18-1, with whom she plays at a high league in the Netherlands. Throughout her youth career, Anouk has always played for Ede. She wanted to stay loyal to her club even though she has gotten multiple opportunities to switch clubs as she was noticed and recruited by other teams in the highest youth league in the Netherlands. Anouk also got an invitation to try out for the Dutch National Team U18, which is a testament to her talent and potential to train with the best players in the country.

Playing style

Anouk is a true goalscorer. Her ability to find the back of the net makes her a valuable asset in the attacking front. Last season she scored 38(!) goals. She combines her goal-scoring instincts with smart passes, making her a consistent threat. Anouk's understanding of the game and her ability to position herself effectively are key to her success. She knows where to be to create scoring opportunities and support her teammates. Anouk not only scores goals but also contributes to her team's success through well-timed passes and playmaking skills. She is highly competitive and thrives on the challenges of the game. Her determination to succeed is a driving force on the field.

Academics

Anouk is currently in her senior year of high school (HAVO) and is expected to graduate in June 2024. Anouk is looking forward to joining a Field Hockey Program, starting in the Fall of 2024. She has the ambition to make an immediate impact and cannot wait to start this new adventure.
