Kevan Kamminga

Kevan started playing basketball at the age of 7. Over the past years Kevan's achievements in the sport speak for themselves. He has already become Dutch national champion with U16, and though he almost made the Nationals U16 team, he has continued to push himself to improve. Currently, he is part of Den Bosch Academy, which has one of the better youth programs in the country. This year, they are number one in the competition and looking like they will have a run for the title with U18 as well.

One of Kevan's greatest strengths is his willingness to make that extra pass, which allows his team to score crucial points. He has also improved his dribbling over the years, becoming more confident with the ball in his hands. However, he recognizes that there is still room for improvement, especially in becoming a more consistent free-throw shooter and having a quicker first step.

In addition to his impressive athletic abilities, Kevan is a dedicated student. He is currently on the highest academic level (VWO) in high school and is looking for a program in the Fall of 2024 that will challenge him academically. He is also keen to find a basketball team with not too many egos, where he can work well with his teammates and continue to develop his skills.

Kevan's positive mindset and desire to involve his teammates make him a valuable asset to any team. With his American passport already in hand, he is ready to take his talents to the next level and make a name for himself in college basketball.
