Magali has been playing at All Out Tennis Club since the age of five and currently competes for the Women’s First Team. Her athletic background includes several years of soccer, which helped develop her footwork and coordination. She currently follows a disciplined schedule, training six to seven days a week to balance her on-court sessions with physical conditioning.

On the court, Magali is known for her court awareness and her ability to remain composed during long matches. She employs an attacking style, using her forehand as a primary weapon while utilizing sharp volleys and a tactical backhand slice to change the rhythm of a point. She is highly coachable and values the team dynamic, often drawing on her experience in both mixed doubles and team competitions to contribute to a positive group environment.

Alongside her tennis, Magali is highly focused on her academic progress and technical studies. Magali has developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills through research projects in high-energy and astroparticle physics, including top-quark analysis using CERN’s ROOT framework during an internship with the ATLAS group at Nikhef and a study on gravitational wave detection. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s thesis within the dark matter R&D program at Nikhef. Magali conducts experimental measurements and data analysis with a liquid xenon detector to test a novel UV detection concept aimed at improving precision in future large-scale experiments such as XENONnT. 

For her journey to the United States, she is looking to pursue a Master’s degree in Physics, Astronomy, or potentially Aerospace Engineering. She is seeking a program where she can effectively balance these ambitious educational goals with high-level tennis, contributing to the team as a dependable player with strong communication skills.
